The SEASTAR CCX205 BRP 479 XTREME CONTROL CABLE POST 79 13FT is engineered to deliver exceptionally smooth throttle and shift performance for BRP®, Johnson®, Evinrude®, and OMC® mechanical control systems manufactured from 1979 onwards. Designed as a direct replacement, this 13-foot control cable provides reliable operation while reducing control effort, even in demanding marine conditions.
Whether you’re replacing a worn cable or upgrading your steering and control system, this Xtreme control cable offers the precision and durability needed for confident boating. Its advanced low-friction design ensures consistent performance from the helm to the engine.
Built for Long-Lasting Performance
Unlike standard control cables, the Xtreme series features a low-friction core that minimises resistance throughout the cable. Consequently, throttle and gear changes feel smoother and require less effort. This makes it an excellent choice for long cable runs and installations with tighter routing.
In addition, the heavy-duty 8.6mm outer casing protects the cable from abrasion, UV exposure, moisture, and harsh marine environments. Stainless steel, brass, and moulded plastic fittings further enhance durability while resisting corrosion over time. As a result, you can count on dependable performance season after season.
Easy Replacement for Post-1979 BRP Systems
The SEASTAR CCX205 BRP 479 XTREME CONTROL CABLE POST 79 13FT is designed as a complete drop-in replacement for compatible BRP®, Johnson®, Evinrude®, and OMC® control systems built after 1979. Its 13-foot length is ideal for a variety of boat layouts while maintaining smooth, accurate control.
Furthermore, the cable exceeds engine manufacturer specifications, giving you added confidence in its quality and performance.
