Designed for smooth throttle and gear shift operation, this premium XTREME™ control cable delivers dependable performance in demanding marine environments. Whether you’re replacing a worn cable or installing a new control system, the 16-foot length provides the flexibility required for a wide range of boat layouts while ensuring precise engine control.

Smooth and Responsive Operation

The SEASTAR CCX179 XTR Control Cable features a low-friction core that minimises resistance throughout the cable. As a result, throttle and gear changes feel smoother and require less effort. Even on longer cable runs or installations with tighter bends, the cable maintains consistent performance. Consequently, you can enjoy responsive engine control and greater confidence every time you’re on the water.

Built for Harsh Marine Conditions

Marine environments demand durable components. Therefore, the CCX179 is built with a heavy-duty UV-resistant outer jacket that protects against sunlight, moisture and abrasion. Additionally, the stainless steel wire core and corrosion-resistant fittings deliver outstanding strength and long service life. This rugged construction makes the cable suitable for both recreational and commercial boating applications.
