The SEASTAR CC179 MERCURY/MARINER 600A CONTROL CABLE 12FT features XTREME™ technology with a low-friction splined core. This advanced design reduces cable resistance and minimises lost motion. As a result, throttle and gear changes feel smoother while requiring less effort at the controls.
In addition, the heavy-duty 8.6mm outer casing is protected by a UV-resistant polyethylene jacket. It resists abrasion, saltwater, fuel, oil, and harsh marine conditions. The stainless steel Lubri-Core™ wire increases durability, while corrosion-resistant stainless steel, brass, and moulded plastic fittings provide reliable long-term performance.
Direct Replacement for Mercury 600A Systems
This 12-foot control cable fits Mercury® and MerCruiser® engines manufactured from 1965 onwards using Generation I (600A) controls. It also suits compatible Force® engines from 1993 onwards and Mariner® engines fitted with Mercury controls, excluding pre-1993 40HP and below models.
